i mean, you wouldn't ask people who make asmr woodworking videos to explain each and every step haha. Some videos are meant to be educational, some are meant to be entertaining ;)

Do you have to keep the plate from oxidizing afterwards? Or do you do your run of prints and discard the plate. It seems like the green oxide would ruin a plate if it was left out too long over a period of years.
Il suffit d'aciérer la plaque de cuivre ; c'est-à-dire déposer par électrolyse une fine couche de fer ! Votre plaque se conservera beaucoup plus longtemps !

Mezzotint is a dedicated process. I remember rocking a plate for 40+ hours....the end result is impressive though!!

I saw a boobie at 5:05 so I expected to see a lady figure on the end result..but no? I mean, what's the end result even supposed to be? Other than this, amazing art process.
same here! i am having a difficult time understanding the end result.
the video never really gives you a good look, but pausing and looking closely you can tell that the print shows a nude female figure standing on the left side. Only half of her body is visible within the frame, and there is an impressionistic blur around her arm, as if she were photographed in motion
